Here are a list of FAQs that might be helpful information about us and our products.

1. How do I take care of my chalkmats?

Any cloth chalkmats can be washed in cold water with any gentle cleanser, and hang dry. Do not put the chalkmats in the washing machine. Laminated chalkmats can be handwashed and line dried as well. After you use it, roll it up and tie it. Make sure you do not bend it for this will cause a permanent crease in the mat.

2. What is the best way to erase the chalk?

Please use high quality chalks, it does make a difference. Crayola chalks seem to work the best. Because the chalkmats are meant to be used anywhere at anytime, any napkin, kleenex, rag, or cloth can be used to wipe off. Damp paper towel seems to work the best.

3. Are your chalkmats made here in the USA?

Yes, in fact, we have 3 manufacturing sites in the US- all hand made, hand cut, and sewn. Therefore, there are some inconsistencies with the colors, binding and size. Be assured, quality is not compromised. They are beautiful mats that can be enjoyed for years. Most of our fabrics come from Japan and Korea.

4. How about your other laminated products? How do you take care of them?

They can be machine washed and tumble low dry. All except the splat mats and chalkmats are machine washable.
